It's one mosquito biting another. I'm not going to take sides or feel bad for either of them.

the proof...the whole proof and nothing but the proof so help me zod.

one can only surmise that sean spicer was privy to a whole lot of information.......he has been extremely silent and quiet....just like flynn eventually became.
he did already give an interview to mueller...........the role of spicer may have a very very big part in the second act of this play........i am sure that we have not heard the last from spicer.

I read a lot of non fiction, but I think the only one I read that was published in 2017 was Bill James' crime book The Man from the Train. I reviewed it in the What Are You Reading? thread in the SLB forum (right before italyprof recommended I read it).

Wait, I also read Al Franken's book Giant of the Senate. That was before all his ***-grabbing issues came to light. I didn't think much of the book, anyway.

I read a bio of Thomas de Quincey which was good, but I think that was 2016.

I can't recall any fiction I liked that was published in 2017. I started George Saunders' novel Lincoln in the Bardo and couldn't get into it. I've read all his short story collections and liked them, especially the earlier ones. He's an inventive, funny writer, but he's gotten more serious over the years and in my opinion less enjoyable to read.

was that the ghost story ?......i passed on that one.....

Yeah, some Buddhist purgatory-type stuff involving Lincoln's dead son. Not my cup of tea.

Check out his story collections titled CivilWarLand in Bad Decline and Pastoralia. Really good books.

the titles themselves are great.

GOING POSTAL - # 884

trump went off again this morning complaining that the post office should charge amazon more money.....
? can a president try to cause economic harm to people or companies that he does not like ? seems like an abuse of power to me.

I assume Trump's main beef with the company is that Bezos owns the Washington Post too, and the Post publishes stuff like this?

(Interesting article, by the way. Worth a click.)
