he actually used to be smart.  about ten years ago maybe?  maybe closer to twenty.  back when his stories of the "good ole days" weren't so ancient.  i love kelly hrudey now.  i hope when they finally get rid of don cherry that hrudey does all the games so that we can still see him out west here.  or that they just get somebody new to do the eastern games that nobody cares about.  :>

I like Don Cherry and will be sad when he's retired from broadcasting. Each to their own though. I went to a Van Vs LA exhibition game years ago when Hrudey was playing for the Kings. He wasn't actually dressed for the game but sitting across the row from me in the stands. I didn't talk to him at all because I hated him at the time. I have come to respect his broadcasting though. The guy sitting beside me went and got his autograph and had a breif conversation with him.

Bieksa leads the best team in the NHL with 25:57 minutes per game in the playoffs. But yeah, he should go challenge Scott, who is only in the game to try and get players like Bieksa injured. Why doesn't Bieksa go challenge some thug on the streets of Chicago. Would that make you guys respect him.
