lt general mcmaster is nsa director....he wrote a book called dereliction of duty about the LBJ admin re vietnam from the political standpoint..it was both scathing and scholarly and is now studied as it is considered to be one of the best and most important books about the vietnam war....one day he will write a book about trump and wont that be interesting.
Mike Rogers is the NSA director. McMaster is a National Security Advisor, or more correct the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. He does not run the NSA. Rogers does...

The Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA), commonly referred to as the National Security Advisor (NSA) or at times informally termed the NSC advisor,[1][2] is a senior aide in the Executive Office of the President, based at the West Wing of the White House, who serves as the chief in-house advisor to the President of the United States on national security issues.

The APNSA also participates in the meetings of the National Security Council and usually chairs the Principals Committee meetings with the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense (i.e., the meetings not attended by the President). The APNSA is supported by the National Security Council staff that produces research and briefings for the APNSA to review and present, either to the National Security Council or directly to the President.

wow 8.99 for a magazine I haven't bought mags for years is that price normal

It's very pricey hooch, to be sure, and what's more they water it down a lot with punctuation.

Just a bit of hypocrisy, seeing that Obama played well over 300 rounds of golf while in office. At least SOME of Trump's golf outings have been with world leaders, or while wooing members of Congress...

Seriously, you're calling someone a hypocrite with regards to the golf, and it's not Trump? Wow.

Going back to Ike, several Presidents played lots of golf. Yeah Trump and many others took shots at Obama for his considerable play. So? The guy played 363 rounds of golf.

He is getting stuff done. Took Obama 10 months to make a decision on Afghanistan. Took Trump just over 48 hours to decide what to do in Syria...

Lots of presidents played golf, that's true. What you're leaving out is the part where, before they took office and played lots of golf, they hammered the crap out of one of their predecessors for -- wait for it -- playing lots of golf.

Hypocrisy: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not : behavior that contradicts what one claims to believe or feel

Can't argue that Trump is getting lots of stuff done. Things are going great so far, no doubt about it.

Yes we felt the same way early in Obama's first term as he began fundamentally transforming America...
4/17/2017 10:30 PM
Trump should have said "I will play golf, but I will work my *** off."
4/17/2017 10:32 PM
Yes, it was hypocritical of him. No denying that. I see it differently. I at least somewhat approve where Trump is going, so I don't care if he plays. Obama was taking us on a path i disapproved of, and he was playing tons of golf. So I objected...I am fickle that way...
