1st goal was a killer... can't be letting some little 2-star wrister dribble thru the five-hole at the championship level. The breakaway at the end for the game-winner... that'll happen, can't fault Kleppe for that, but that 1st one can't happen.

Probie had the better of the 1st and 3rd, but Speedy damn DOMINATED the 2nd and Desautelle held the fort, got them to the 3rd tied.

Gotta figure out a way to get my top line some five on five time.

we're kinda screwed because BCart doesn't give a damn.

We could find another league that's at about the same level and only has 10 guys and merge with them if BCart would answer an email. Hell, Pitty might even be in another 10-team private league.

I'm in a quality private league, but it usually only turns over 1 or two teams every year.

And it's pretty far along for someone to be starting up now.

Would be awesome if a merge were a possibility.  Hell, at that point I'd be tempted to merge our two leagues.

I just worry that that might invite new problems.

With no cap and max TV deals, the new teams are in better shape than we were when we started, but it's still hard to get competitive quick against teams that have (now) an eight season head start (plus the lockout year where wise coaches were training the **** out of the players). The Superleague could be a tough sell to newbies (props to Ry for taking the challenge). An experienced owner could probably get good quick.

The Deuce could fill in. We've only got a four-year head start, max revenues and a cap. 

Rather than open it to the public, invite guys you know from the other leagues you guys are in? Guys you know will stick with it? Or if you're in a dead private league with only a couple of active players, tell 'em you're going to shut the league down and give them the passwords to the Pit leagues?

New recruits probably ought to get their feet wet in the Deuce, guys who have played GHL before could try the Superleague.

I'd really like to have Donald, Blackdog, TDK, and Sparky back. Maybe Genghis and/or Disco.

We're down to the original six in the Superleague (with NY Groove inactive), maybe it wouldn't be that bad joining it cold since the other four teams are in varying stages of building (Rustyblades, Finnski, Wombats and Osaka).

Bringing those guys back would be my first choice.  But I can't make em stay.  And I don't have the funds to award a WIS GC to the winner.
