I have a Christman in three different worlds.
Incorrect
Ruth, $, and DM... I think I have like a Merv Christman as a pitcher or something. Or maybe that's in Gleeman.

Four seasons in b0t...  why is your DM team still awful?

It's a combination of two things. I'll say it's 65% me not giving a **** about that team. I have never been that active with it, and don't pay as much attention to the league in general.

The other facet might just be the league's salary cap has a lot more teams who budget similarly to what I do, and employ a similar strategy. So the manner in which I accumulate talent through good drafts and compensatory picks doesn't really happen when most the league is heavily invested in amateur scouting. Without the leverage of just drafting better, I probably would have to work harder or try a new approach to free agency. But I'm lazy.

Possible.

The international market has been abysmal for a long time there too.

Still...  losing records are inexcusable.
To be fair, I tend to give up on that team relatively quickly rather than MacGuyver the roster into something workable. I just don't give it much time or attention, unfortunately. I keep getting pissy too because despite having a high training/medical budget, all my top prospects always get hurt for a while. I feel snakebitten, and would just rather half-*** it then use the usual late FA spare parts to assemble a roster.

If you want, I'll try next season. I even just threw some guys onto revokable waivers to maybe start the retooling this year.

I'm surprised you haven't had more success in DM, b0t. I turned the Toronto franchise around pretty easily the past few seasons, and would be in much better shape this season if not for my month of inactivity (I still think I'll bounce back and win the division though). I think that the talent level (coach and otherwise) in HR and $ are way ahead of that in DM.

That being said...  I should have the awful season I predicted last season in $.
That would require your division not sucking so much.

Like I said, it's apathy. And my usual tricks are being replicated by a bunch of imposters and that just increases the apathy.

I'm just happy to finally be making some progress with my $ team. At least I think it's progress, we could always lose 100 again this season.

Shopping Cart Anti-Defamation League, whatever you're paying your (ex?)wife to cohabitate with the art teacher, hush money to a handful of 17 year-olds, $20 to Bret for the suicide league.

I'd like to suggest that we spend some more time talking about how TM vacationed at Colonial Williamsburg.

Simmons is your difference maker.

He'll probably be the worst hitter in my line-up for now, but he's really developed well and I hope he can hit his projections.

He wanted to feel comparatively rich/sophisticated/attractive?

If Williamsburg was available for an HBD city, I would have made a team relocation by now.

Just don't embarrass yourself.  You are better than that,

I agree.

Hell, I made Iowa City into a powerhouse just from trying hard for like 1.5 seasons.
