Vikings(9-1): old Favre v. Favre-wannabe Topic

The Vikes are handing it to the Eli and Gints today (yes, I typed Gints on purpose)

Amazingly enough, after the win today, the Vikings are actually in the wildcard hunt. Yes, the NFC is that bad.
Now, it's game #2 vs Probert's squad, who are on a 3-game losing streak, which must obviously be why he's been so quiet lately.

Payback and more for the Vikings yesterday....Probert's squad is now truly the Motor City Kitties once again!
If the Vikings have truly figured out how to play offense, then the rest of the NFC better watch out!

The Vikings are rolling...another big victory over a hapless 49ers squad. Next week, it's the da Bears and MNF! Ready, mudbone?

I'm ready to watch your version on AP run for at least 170 and 3 TDs. We put Adams and Garay on IR and brought up some practice squad scrub. Or DT's are now..
1...Tommie on one leg
2...Darwin Walker with a bad elbow.
3...Idonijie..nice player, but not gonna hinder AP much
4...new scrub guy
Have fun watching AP trash what's of a one kickass D.

Game's on tonight...Orton can't be worse than Rex and Brian, because his last name doesn't begin with a Gr.
12/17/2007 10:39 AM
I am starting AP (vikes) in my fantasy playoffs and the guy I am facing has the Vikes D......only 2 points seperate us.....come on AP run for 4 TDS!
12/17/2007 7:10 PM
I am starting Berrian tonight and need 10 points...ugh
Had to bench Steve Smith (who finally scored 7 points) and I started Berrian, Roddy White (0 points), and Amani Toomer (0 Points). Not to mention Shockey and his 1 point and broken leg plus the worst output this season for Brady.
I need a miracle!
12/17/2007 7:19 PM
You better hope Orton fumbles and Berrian recovers it and returns it for a TD!
12/17/2007 7:23 PM
Starting Berrian wasn't exactly the wisest move. Next week, the Love Boat Captain returns to Minnesota...aka Fred Smoot.

Gee ya think! My WR corps this season have all collectively died of unexpected causes I made the playoffs on the strength of Brady's arm solely.

Yeah, my WRs pretty much bit the dust too. And on one of my Yahoo teams, I thought I was going to have a pretty good fantasy team. And then Larry Johnson, Thomas Jones, and Carson Palmer decided to play like garbage.

Oh well, another season ends with the Vikings sitting at home for the playoffs. That's 3 seasons in a row now. But, I was impressed with Tarvaris' skills in leading the charge back from 16 pts down...

Oh, and does anyone have any money to donate to the Troy Williamson Fund for Mentally Incompetent WRs?
12/30/2007 10:48 PM
Hail to the Redskins!

Actually I think you should start a fund to get Williamson some hands...
