Wow, of the last 4 teams remaining mine is the only team pre-2000.  Interesting.  I would have thought the older teams were much better suited to a tourney like this.

ok for the Astros, both Clemons and Oswalt have to sit out right?

For my Dodgers I have to sit out Sutton and Rau...meaning I have both Hooten and Messersmith available...yes that means I used my 4th starter last gameDidnt like how Hooten was simming against those Padres.

Actually you were up 2-0 after 8 in the one that counted, but good luck anyway. Next time I will take a team that doesn't have all D- catcher arms.

First game tied at 3 after 8, site booted me (but not him, strangely enough). I had entered Hoffman with 2 outs in the top 8th and he held the score. While I was attempting to get back in, Sparky inexplicably PULLED Hoffman to start the 9th, even though he is the CLOSER, threw just 3 pitches, and his spot did NOT get up to bat, which was total BS. We replayed it and the final was 2-0 LA.

If going with my suggestion of last-place and =/-.420 teams, I would use the whole expansion era (1961-2009) because not every team has enough lousy years since 1969 to choose from.

kwatts, I'm in the middle of my set, but if you can let me know when you are available we can probably get our game in late tonight or during the day tomorrow. The earliest I can get on tonight is probably around 9pm PST.
