Here is the response from Admin: "The new players will be available no later than next Friday -- potentially even a few days sooner if everything goes smoothly." This argues for a shift into "hurry-up mode" sooner rather than later. If we started doubling up at round 9, Saturday we would just make it by next Friday if the very last three rounds (19th, 20th and 22nd) were three picks each. Thoughts?
In terms of position hogging, given the short notice, I'm happy to go along with an idea the first double round (Saturday the 16th) should exclude two picks at the same position, but after that, I think it should be fair game. In the first place, I can't keep track of enforcing what everyone does, and in the second place, people have to not leave themselves vulnerable, and take their lumps if they draft without foresight. Thoughts?
