Thought about that, but I don't think Posey's 2010 has done too well in the sim.  Hopefully he comes back from that horrible injury to post some great seasons.

I used him on my Giants team a few seasons back and he was perfectly fine.  Nothing special but considering I punted C in the draft to strengthen other areas I was perfectly happy with him.

Well, this pick probably won't hurt anyone, and it'll probably spur some interesting comments from Jose, and no doubt some jeers and snickers from the rest of the peanut gallery, but the Royals will take Keith Hernandez from the Cards.  In fact, I wonder if he's ever even been used in Rule V history... 

Taking him did cause me to look up some famous lines however:

KEITH: Ya know I hate to brag but, uh, I did win eleven straight golden gloves.
ELAINE: [chuckles]
KEITH: I wouldn't have brought it up but since you mentioned it.
ELAINE: Ha, I didn't mention it.
KEITH: Well I won them anyway.

That takes STL off the board.  I know Keith hasn't been used much in Rule V,  but I seem to recall him being used at least once.  sgsmith has data for the last ten drafts, but I don't think he's been used that recently.

I was looking at Rolen for 3B, but checked his past legs & I know from experience that he seems to always under-perform with the stick

looks like Hernandez has been used 3 times in the last 17 legs.

HoJo was an absolute monster for my Braves last leg, very nearly going 50/50 (47 HRs and 56 SBs).  He likes the Launching Pad...

Nope, Hernandez has not been drafted in the last 10 legs.  Nor has he been kept by the Cardinals owner. As, at best, the #3 first baseman for the franchise, it's doubtful that he's been used much by the Cards, so unless he was drafted away in some leg before #25, it's likely he hasn't seen a lot of Rule V playing time. 

The last 17 seasons are linked in the Team Center, so once we get started and he's on the Royals roster, we can use "Player Search" to check his past season stats (not draft record, of course).

Wait, how do you look up seasons for guys that didn't play in the most recent?
