the very vast majority of the south believes that god created man in present form between 6-10 thousand years ago.....no evil -ution.......adam and eve schwartz popped into existence......and .thats when the earth was created - right before that.....ikm not criticizing you for not knowing this cccp .....it is really a fact that approx. 40 % of this genius country of the world believes this..i know it is a shock to you....it should be.
now, another thing that you dont realize is that people like myself and bad luck and taint and others who know this make our comments from the perspective that almost half of this country live in a fantasy world so we know what the country is up against to get it on track for climate protection and fiscal responsibility and how can the trump supporters who are already hypnotized by truly childish fairy tale religions be expected to climb out from being under the thumb of a charlatan pied piper who pushes their buttons and pulls their strings.

So, Dino, the LDS (Mormons) view is even goofier as to the "age" of the globe and it's creation and history.
I won't bother to go there, but, fact is, anyone who would take the Bible as 100% literal History (no fantasies, parables, embellishing, etc) is a lunatic who can't understand basic known science and THINK/conclude for themselves.

There are plenty of folks who PREFER NOT to actually make the conclusions (that is obvious to those who paid attention in basic science) available in BOTH Science and History, because it's just easier for them to exist that way. They're not ALL in the South (or the Midwest)........ it just seems that way sometimes.

Flyover America does not have an exclusive on the dim bulbs. There is a plight of citified morons, urban hillbillies, call them what you like. They don't wear bibs or drink Ski. They cannot name their state capital. They believe it when pols tell them government handouts are free. The difference between them and their rural counterparts is that they think they are smart. This despite the fact that most of them can't change a tire, dial a rotary phone, or pick the Vice President out of a lineup.
