Virologists have been studying this virus VERY actively for quite a while now.

Some people in their study groups have developed extremely high anti-bodies that seem to attack ALL the sars virus's (including past virus's from years ago!!) and defeat them!! Super immunity if you will.

BUT, it occurs due to the timing of those study recipients RECEIVING vaccination shots at (precise) post infection periods of time wherein they had remaining anti-bodies that had waned but not gone completely away and the Vaccination (thus) BOOSTED their levels of anti-bodies to hugely effective levels. At present the scientific consensus is that repeat vaccinations (read that as BOOSTERS!) given at the correct time period (relative to the amount of anti-bodies remaining in the individual) will replicate the SAME result. They are working on it NOW!

NOT getting vaccinated is akin to intentionally risking the health of the entire National populace.
In a word or two it is IRRESPONSIBLY stupid and unpatriotic to the utmost!!

In my County (in AZ), according to a knowledgeable source, Banner Health's employee vaccination RATE is 30%!!
That's 70% NON-vaccinated. Of the 70% a FULL 50% of them state they won't get vaccinated at all, even IF they lose their jobs!

I have a neighbor who is one of the 70%.
She is the HEAD of their home nursing program.

She has always claimed she will NOT get the shot and would quit her job IF it came to that.
She and her husband have a blended family (like the Brady Bunch). They have 4 kids, 2 each boys and girls.
The weekend before last they hosted a big birthday celebration for one of their daughters, along with some other community members birthdays.
It was a well attended bash.................in a community (and group of people) largely refusing vaccinations.

The latest news................... She, her husband, and all 4 of their children have now come down with Covid - 19!!
No word yet on how many others are sick because of their hosting of this (super-spreader) event.

Also, no word yet on her status as a Banner Health employee.
Or IF she will recover enough to even go back to work................IF she accepts vaccination!

UPDATE:

I have more local news on this party. It indeed WAS a super spreader event. The party was 13 days ago (Last Sunday).
In addition to the family I mentioned (all 4 VERY sick), we have somewhere near a dozen others NOW sick with COVID - 19.
And ONE very note-worthy DEATH. A guy who goes by the name "Sparky" (ironically enough here at WIS) is DEAD. He got the virus and DIED in less than 11 days! He was a very well known feller round these parts AND in the very center of the "Trump covid is a hoax" crowd,

Gotta wonder what they're saying this AM??
He was killed by a HOAX in less than 11 days...................gasping for his last breath...................

"Sparky's" funeral service is tomorrow.

This Sunday (19th) there will be a celebration of life "get together"/party at the home of the widow.

This is ALL completely TRUE.
I live in a small rural neighborhood in Arizona.
In a hotspot of Trumpmania.
My neighborhood of 200-300 is prolly 90% Trumpet's (including the deceased Sparky)

Sparky died from a "party/birthday gathering" that occurred on 8/29. Many got sick of Covid following the event.
NOW the same group of folks are holding (ANOTHER) superspreader event to commemorate the death of one of their OWN!!

IN MY own neighborhood!
I have a friend who is friends with these people.
He wants to attend the funeral and is "hurt" because they have invited him to their memorial party and (somehow) wants ME to feel for him!! (because he'll reveal himself as "not really one of them?" (He did admit it was partly because he'd have to "choose sides" publicly on the COVID and isn't a "political person")

Anyways, I guess I'm an *******, because my response is GROW SOME F'ING BALLS!!!
And further IF you go to these events, adios amigo, hit the road Jack because I no longer respect you as my Friend, because I can't trust YOU to do the right thing!

Thus, bottom line, 1 less friend.

Regardless of one's past, at some point you, as a grown up, must choose to make different decisions if you want to succeed.

I’m sorry this is all about saying poor people esp black adults should not get help and use the personal responsibility to put everybody in that net.
It is all dressed up. It is a slogan used by people who are enraged by poor people getting help.
It is a slogan to make everything black and white.
All federal and state assistance do have guidelines for eligibility to try to make sure that there is not abuse by ineligible people.

Instead of racially charged slogans why don’t get into the programs themselves and point out what you object to.
Sometimes you just have to realize that the world and governmental structure we have has evolved and will evolve in the same direction.

Since Hoover our country adjusted and evolved and you might be disillusioned but don’t be self deluded that these slogans are going to change the way governments operate everywhere in the United States

Specific issues with programs is realistic or modify ions.

Here, let me give an example of a straight, incremental line towards authoritarianism.

1. Right now, pretty much every major election that is lost by a Republican is met with fraud. They haven't even finished voting yet in California and ALREADY Larry Elder is saying that the election is rigged. I don't see this trend reversing anytime soon.
2. During the aftermath of the 2020 election, states with Republican majority legislatures that Biden won attempted to overturn the election result in the State Congress, but were often countered by other powers in the state such as the Secretary of State.
3. Many Republican states are also stripping power from Secretaries of State and giving them to the legislature.

Therefore, in the near future we could see an election rightfully won by a Democrat but overturned by a conservative Congress. There's a direct line between current action and authoritarianism/corruption in the future.

I’m old enough to remember when Hillary Clinton claimed for four years that the election was stolen from her. I’m also old enough to remember when the DNC announced Stacy Abrams as the rightful governor of GA at the convention. Don’t pretend like this is one a one-sided thing.

This is also why I think the Republicans were stupid for going down this road. Had they accepted the results, it definitely would have given them the moral high ground. They ****** that away.

Name one piece of misinformation that I’ve spread. Go ahead. I’m waiting. I am wrong that the vaccine is safe? Am I wrong that the vaccine is effective? I am wrong that almost all of the breakthrough deaths have been people that are 65 or older and have at least 3 underlying conditions? Am I wrong that a breakthrough hospitalization or serious illness is rare? I’m starting to wonder if you’re an anti-vaxer. You don’t seem to think that it actually works.
