After spending the last two days ripping on VD, I thought we could go back to talking about moy.  breum is so 5 years ago.
a bunch of people here have idiotic views about HBD, im happy to be the voice of reason and non-HBD elitism.

entertaining bot stove, and captured many of my basic HOF sentiments pretty well (not including the worn-out pedophile jokes, I did like the christmas tree one though). Grieve was a very good player for a time period based upon the basic parameters of HBD, glitchy or not. i'd gladly vote Grieve into the postseason HOF or the Tandem HOF. but based upon getting 5 votes a season, i cant make him one of my 5 vote getters this season based upon the other candidates out there.

I like to trade players that I don't need or want for players that I do need or want - my idiotic views on HBD. What can I say, I'm an extremist.

It's -7 outside right now and supposed to be snowing on and off all day, with a "feels like -33" according to the weather channel. My first class is a mile and a half walk from where I park. Today seems like a good day to stay home and study.

For having budgeted 20 million, I am really unimpressed with moy's coaches.  He is such an idiot.
It was a rather odd time for him to make that investment to begin with.

Well it's not like he waited to pay ML coaches without assignments to coach in his minors, he just overpaid for the guys slotted at those minor league positions.

Where are you going to school, mbriese? Isn't it somewhere in Colorado?

2.8 million for a bullpen coach. Awesome.

Downtown Denver, in between the Pepsi Center and Invesco Field.

Velandia is the only shoo-in to me, but I think Grieve has supporting evidence to suggest that he belongs there just as much as any other candidate, if not more.

And there's no such thing as a postseason Hall of Fame because postseason should play just as big an impact as regular season. Calling it the regular season Hall of Fame is stupid. Real HoF voters always consider postseason performance when voting. I don't see why someone should ignore it just because the stats immediately in front of them do.

What a weird name for a university.

I should have gone to Amherst or Williams. I didn't realize until I was in school for a few years that their scholarship offers were pretty impressive, but I didn't really differentiate them much from the Shippensburgs, Gettysburgs, Ursinuses, and other schools that were into me.

I was at Metropolitan State, but for the sake of out-of-state tuition and seeing as it's my last semester here in Colorado I'm going to Community College of Denver, which is located on the same campus.

I think paying for it myself meant I wanted the cheaper option. But I could have had so much more clout.
