he actually got to keep the Cup? he must be the best hockey player ever. 
forgive me for pointing out his failure from last year...all those trophies and medals obviously should have had the Hawks shaking in their skates.

but it's nice that you have a double standard for Pronger, that all the accolades in the past put him above ridicule...though when Muddy brings up Toews achievements, you quickly dismiss.

I was joking. Really I don't give a rats *** what pronger did in the past - I only care about what he does now. Unlike Hawks fans that 'live' in the past. I'm sure I'll hear about Toews 1 awesome season for the next 49 years.


That said - I don't put pronger above riducule. I like his sarcasm and his attitude but bottom line is he was injury prone last season and it hurt the flyers. His contract will probably hurt them in the long-term as well. He's a great defender when he plays, healthy. Best of the best, no... but one of the best, absolutely.

This season + 5 more at 4.9 mil I think. The guy is 36ish.

As long as it terminates if he retires before it expires, it's not too bad.
