I like how Canuck fans think their players are all worth so much more than every other player on every other team

Actually I think Schneder is one of the most valuable players available on any team.  Best goalie not  a starter, and probably in the top half of starting goalies.  Still young at 25, and still an RFA at the end of next season.  And all that for a cap hit under 1 mil.  That's the real key, his low salary.  You get a 3-4 mil player for 900K.

I can't see Schneider finishing next season with the Canucks, can't have that valuable an assest sitting on the bench in the playoffs.  As well we already have the goalie of the future in Eddie Lack.

The Canuck fans should get ready for a looooong year of abuse from Jim and I.  Even as we were defending champs, all we heard was how we were a fluke, Buff was the heart and soul of our team, blah blah blah.  It was all 100% wrong, but that didn't mean jack.  Now that the Canucks have proved themselves to be a heartless bunch of choking dogs, you better believe we're gonna dish it right back all summer and into the season.
A Heartless bunch of choking dogs???  Who played hockey 6 weeks longer than your team.  The only thing our teams had in common was we both lost our last game, nothing else matters.
Second place is the first loser. We just got to practice our golf earlier. No bragging rights for losing

End result for both = FAIL

So you believe Schneider is in the top 15 starting goalies in the league right now? Based on 35 career NHL games over 3 seasons? Cmon...You call him a 3-4 million dollar player, which means you expect him to perform similar to or better than Carey Price, Corey Crawford, Pekka Rinne and others...That's quite alot to ask of a goaltender who's never played more than 25 games in a season.

it will be a sad day if Cory gets dealt..knowing i will never see a cup in Vancouver in my lifetime..with my partying lifestyle and liver of a 90 yr old that wont be too long..Luongo got outplayed by Crawford,Renne and Thomas and the Canucks still were within 1 win of the cup..Vancouver will never win the cup with Luongo...that is the sad truth

Window of opportunity has been the last few years and maybe next year and lets be honest here..Chicago was in Luongo's head the last 2 years and exposed him ..this year he choked in Boston..3 meltdowns when Vancouver had to win 1 game..lets not keep making excuses for Roberto..he doesnt have the mental make up to win the cup..and if Cory is traded it will be the end of any hopes the Canucks ever have of wining the cup..I bet Schneider wins a cup with another organization than Luongo ever does..

Hello guys. It's been a while since I've had the chance to contribute. I just got back from a bike tour of the beautiful province of B.C. I really miss that great province. My dad, 2 co-workers and I drove our bikes down every curvey road in B.C. and loved every minute of it. We stood in the sand of Long Beach near Tofino. What a crazy road that one was. Loved it.  Spent almost the entire finals on the road but did catch all the games.

First of all I want to say that what happened after game 7 was very disapointing. During our trip I saw so many proud and devoted fans it hard to believe there are idiots out there that start that sh!t. With out reading all the prevous posts I can just imagine the bashing going on in here. What ever, move on.

Second, I will not blame Luongo for all our misfortunes but he was clearly not the best goalie in that series. There was alot of players that disappeared, mainly the Sedins. You can't blame the refs for not making some calls the way they were falling all over the place. I still think the hit on Raymond was a totally bogus missed call. I was happy to hear the crowd jeer Bettman, the little weasel.

Whats next for us? I think if we still had Bertuzzi we would be carting the cup around instead of Boston. No disrespect to Boston intended. They were the better team and deserved to win. Marchant is now my new "most hated" player but he played to win.
