Through the previous 4 seasons, Washington and SUNY Oneonta were tied but oldave held the tie-breaker advantage. So you needed to go one round further than Oneonta..i.e. the championship game.

If Eureka had lost in the 1st round of the PIT, they would have placed #40 on the Dynasty list. A 1st round loss in the NT would boost them to #33.

Dynasty list comes out tomorrow morning. Who will be #1? Traditional powers Washington or SUNY Oneonta? Skidmore? Redlands? Wheaton? Lakeland?
Stay tuned.....

Not Skidmore. You do a nice job with these dynasty rankings Al. I pay more attention to this list than I do any others.

I'm guessing Washington will leapfrog Oneonta for the top spot.

I'm guessing Pittsburgh-Greensburg or Washington & Lee would move up considerably w/ a win tonight...(heck maybe even w/ a loss)....how far anyone moves is only known by the Rankings-master, alblack.... GL tonight illini....but not too much luck.

Thanks for the compliment. I enjoy compiling the list.

This was the closest rankings yet. Only 2 point separates #1 from #7. A tie-breaker was needed to rank Wheaton, Redlands, and Lakeland.
8/15/2007 4:02 AM
Now comes the challenge of keeping Bluffton on the list.
8/15/2007 10:08 AM
I have the same challenge for Eureka.

Inquiring minds want to know: What tiebreaker did you use?

Deepest tourney run, maybe?

Argh, if there was only a national championship hanging from the rafters at Wheaton. I'm still having traumatic flashbacks from the one point loss to Lakeland on a three pointer with under 10 seconds remaining.
