Thompson isn't shooting as much as I'd like him to. Really, I just want him to because I want it out of Fanelli's hands more often.

I looked Fanelli up and the evaluation had been "outside shot of playing in the NBA when he graduates." I should just concentrate on enjoying the year, I know, but I doubt anyone anticipated he could leave early. If he hadn't been a freshman starter, I doubt he'd be anywhere near that position he's in now.

We both ran uptempo. Three of my guys fouled out so it was my team and not his that ran out of gas. I thought I had more quality depth than Maryland, and to tell the truth, I do...but we lead at the half by 12, so I have to think that maybe I should've gone with normal tempo instead of uptempo, considering that I pretty much knew they'd run uptempo. I dunno. This seemed like a fairly coinflippy game, but I should consider a different strategy if presented with the same circumstances.

I also played a -2. That might have contributed to my foul situation.

The rebounding margin and turnover battle went to them, along with the fouls, so my gameplan obviously didn't work this time.
