Toddleduc- How much of this is on wins and losses, what else comes into play? This is a tough one to call. I play in a lot of Leagues with a lot of my teamates and like 'em... it's hard for me to vote anyone off that I know. I guess I look at it like we're going on a road trip and I don't want to have to leave anyone behind, lol. Although I'm a bulldog & will fight like hell to win each ofdthese one-on-one games, I'm a softie and don't have the killer instinct to vote off my own teamates & friends. I'd rather have the rest of the guys speak and not vote at all if I could.

* I guess when push comes to shove the next round or two- wins and losses will have to play a roll in deciding who stays or goes. That and timeliness of getting the games in. If we're all waiting a week on a guy to get a game in-- if he's not making himself available then he's kind of slowing up the finiale of the challenge and keepin us from moving forward.

Jordy- you're being to hard on yourself, bro! Granted you didn't talk about it with us before declaring the Dodgers which ticked some guys off, but you picked a damn good team- probably the best one of the decade for sure. So I was pleased with the outcome. 1950's Dodgers had a great consistent offense it seems up & down the lineup most of the decade. I liked my matchup against the Indians. Didn't feel we had a weak spot in the lineup, felt the Indians lineup downtown had to work with wasn't nearly as good. My starter seemed a bit better and neither of us had a good pen, but I had 2 guys I felt fairly confident with as far as ending the game if I had a lead. So I was pleased with you selection. I lead the whole way, though it was close the middle of the game on and I had to call on the only 2 pen guys I figured could get anyone out to nail down the last 8 outs (though they gave up a run or 2) and eched out a rough-and-tumble 9-6 win.

Hey jordy & all my AL teamates-we tied & ended up losing in sudden death! It was close and we did well. We won our share of games... If the WHOLE THING came down to a sudden dealth "penalty kick/penalty shot" we've got nothing to be ashamed of... One little run first and we have team imunity and none of us go home... We just need to try harder to dominate next time and hope lady luck meets us half way.

Ya gotta believe !!! Let's Kick Some ***, AL !!!!!

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

Seems to weigh rather heavily. I was not too worried as the Indians seemingly had much better pitching than the Dodgers (Newcombe is a homer wort), but the Dodgers power hitters were too much to overcome. I gave the challenge it's due diligence, did all the proper research. Sometimes you just get kicked in the fanny.

lol... who's Johnson?

You need to watch Blazing Saddles

knee, I apologize...was not intending to sway any of the other tribes votes with my comments...rather was making a comment for future captains to take note. If I was on either of the tribes that lost I wouldnt have had a problem with the team that was chosen.

In the first Survivor everybody was answering questions whether or not they were asked one. No one got redlined for it there. Although I do understand why my post was redlined.

Hedley Lamarr: My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Taggart: God darnit, Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar whore.

Jim: Well, my name is Jim, but most people call me... Jim.

Jim: Where you headed, cowboy?
Bart: Nowhere special.
Jim: Nowhere special; I always wanted to go there.

8. Steveymer- You have a history as the first champion, does that come in to play here?

Shouldn't matter much. Maybe it will help a little at this point as the experience could be seen as an asset, but maybe hurt some later on as it gets closer to the end and people feel like someone else should have a turn
The big risk is that peope now see you as more of a threat and try to get you out of the way early enough to prevent it from happening again.

The Win. His loss was a tough one for all of us watching, but it was like losing on PK's in soccer, not a whole lot of control.
