Are you kidding? I have been waiting for the snark! I also am glad to see any kind of followup from your initial questions, definitely like that

Yea, I would say that really affeted this game a lot more than it has been mentioned. Two stand out guys who know the sim well and have good reputations around here bowing out sure saved some peoples butts around here, including mine. Taint really surprised me more out fo the two. I would also say that it made everyone a threat to win it all. It sure mixed up some alliances, and also allowed more time for people to build on or more alliances in the mean time.

Assuming you are the sixth and not one of the five, reminds me of my kids' elementary school days. ...

It's not so much about innocence as it is opportunity. Your kid can do any of those things by his own decision.  

I would love to be in all sorts of alliances, but for this type of thing It takes two, preferably more.  Coming in to this game I was handicapped by very few previous contacts...and things rolled quick from there.  I had to make a general gameplan that couldn't really rely on alliances, but assumes that everyone else is in some form of one with each other.  It might not be true, but that's how i gotta see it if I wanna find the cracks.
