Can you use a player season at a position that he wasn't drafted at if he isn't 100% for that season in the position that he was drafted at? For example if I draft a player at C at a season that he is 100% at C but plan to use him at SF where he is only 97% effective is that allowed?

For each player you draft, you must use a season for which he's 100% at the position you drafted him at.  (But it's up to you which position you actually PLAY him at.)

So basically Marques Johnson can't be used in his best rebounding season :(  But he can be used at either SF or SG as long as he is 100% at SG in that season because that is where he was drafted. I guess i should have asked that question before I drafted McHale or Mel Daniels shouldn't I?

doesn't sound like a problem, vancem, murphy, mchale and daniels fill the frontcourt nicely, and marques will take up the bulk at sf... however, if you're thinking of using mchale at the no. 3, not a problem either... marques also plays pf if im not mistaken. you have enough big men to be flexible and can fill the lane and wings almost completely... a solid 11,800 mins worth i think.

Scud the problem is that I thought that I could play Johnson at his best rebounding season but he was drafted at SG. Therefore, he can't be used in his best rebounding season because in that year he was only 95% at SG. Also because of my lack of understanding  I drafted McHale instead of Daniels. I would love it if I had McHale and Mel Daniels on the roster. At least Johnson will dominate the rebounding at SG most of the time.

ah, i understand... however, my fine feathered friend, you have the two 2600 min bench players to help change things around a little. and it wasn't very fair of us to throw you into the mix so suddenly when dealing with a kind of complicated draft style. this hasn't been easy, but it's been fun, and definately interesting. for what it's worth, jakotay didn't do too badly for ya, though i do not like the murphy pick. love mchale and daniels and marquese (especially that 55% fg season). is he 100% sg in that version? am surprised so much center talent and pf talent is still on the table. damn happy i get to pick early in that round.

Bo Outlaw was on my semi-short list but I was thinking 6th round. He and Sabonis both gone now I'll really have to do some work that round.

ah, you're right, dh, sorry... perhaps it was a simple freudian slip... your team being scary and all.

round 6... 2 bench players. a player cannot exceed 2600 mins. no exception. even if player has 2601 mins, no good.
