I will even vote in the primary for Bachmann if she is on the ballot. I can't wait to see you get massacred in the presidential election.

You know I would never vote for Dennis Kucinich in a promary because I think he would lose in the general.

I hope you are kidding.

I like Bachmann, you consider her a dangerous idiot.

What if she got nominated and they find out something horrible about Obama and she wins?

Never happen. The country is not that stupid.

In America. How many candidates have ever done worse than 44%? Mondale against a super popular Reagan? Goldwater who people thought would destroy the world?

It assumes no strong third party.
No need to worry about a strong 3rd party - election laws controlled by the Dems & Repubs have seen to that.

Really...

Wallace, Anderson and Perot want to talk to you about it.

Bachmann at even 5% in a general election would spell doom for America.
Are you saying as the Republican candidate in a general election?

44-52%.
Yes, as a Republican candidate in a general election.   If the Repubs can't find half a dozen better candidates, Welcome to Obama 2012!

I think Bachmann would make a fine president.
What would be fine about it? Submiting to her husband's will or doing what God told her to do when her instincts told her to do differently?

She decided with her Husband to run for President, so carrying out the will of the American People is following her husbands will.

This is starting to remind me of all the anti-Catholic stuff when Kennedy was running.

Really?  What's your definition of strong then?

In 1968, Wallace gained 13.5% of the popular vote and won one state (the only 3rd party candidate since 1948 to achieve that)
In 1980, Anderson gained 6.6% of the popular vote, no electoral votes.
In 1992, Perot made a strong showing in the popular vote with 18.9% but did not win any states.
In 1996, Perot ran again and dropped to 8%, no electoral votes.
In 2000, Nader only won 2.7% of the popular vote.

None of the above were able to sustain their modest showings 4 years later.

So why doesn't her husband run for President then?

Are you trying to imply that because she won a straw vote, that you had to pay 30 dollars to vote, that somehow this is the will of the american people? If you think that the majority of the american people want her, you are as looney tunes as she is.
