Tons of politicians use or have used private emails to conduct official business including GOP presidential hopefuls and one of the lead Benghazi investigators. Hell, the head of the house oversight committee has a gmail account listed on his governmental business card.

So as SOS, Hillary sends 30,000 emails using a private address and server and not one of them are to republicans in congress? No one notices this until now? Witch hunt is completely correct. Any email she sends to someone that has a governmental email address is recorded. This is as much a non story as the "stand down order" in Benghazi was.

By the way **** Hillary and all of them who use private emails to conduct business. It's poor form but it's not breaking any laws.

It's stupid to do, but people are acting like she used a gmail account. She was using her husband's server. I think that the former POTUS will have proper security measures in place. Like I said this issue isn't going to be affecting votes in Nov 2016. If Repubs in 2016 are trying to beat Hillary over Benghazi and a private email server, they might as well help move boxes into the White House for her.

That being said, Hillary is a poor politician. She's a wooden candidate, her forced laugh is irritating, and if she's asked why she wants to President, she'll probably stare at you blankly for an hour.

Agreed on all accounts. I hate her as a candidate.

Rumors have Ted Cruz being the first candidate to announce, Monday at Liberty University.

He's a fire-breathing conservative who apparently has some excitable debate qualities. I would love to see him sink his teeth at Jeb.

Ted Cruz doesn't own his own domain name. Going to tedcruz.com gets a website saying, "Support President Obama Immigration Reform Now".

I do like his intro movie even though 90% of it is stock images.

Sounds like Marco Rubio will officially announce a run for the Presidency this month. Odd that he's tossing away a Senate seat, and one that will be difficult for Republicans to hold without Rubio.

I like Rubio though, he holds the qualities that would be a good President. Very intelligent, good back story (albeit he embellished his family's history), smooth talker, sociable, and actually tries to govern. Tough road to win the Republican nomination as he doesn't hold nearly the campaign infrastructure as some other contenders. He's my best bet to end up as a VP candidate for whomever wins the nomination, and if not he could probably get a cabinet post such as Secretary of State if a Repub wins the Presidency.

Worst case scenario is a John Edwards situation (minus the mistress) in which he throws away a Senate seat (which the opposing party picks up), his party loses the General Election, and then he runs again in 4 years.

Rand Paul is officially in.

He's pushed himself away from his father's more extreme views, especially on foreign policy, but in the process has alienated a base of support that allowed Ron Paul to have respectable performances in the primaries. He'll find something that appeals to almost any audience, but in the end his catering to so many different groups leaves him without a true base.

Big credit to him for talking to college groups and minority groups that the Republican Party has largely given up on. He would be very difficult to defeat in a General Election as he can probably pull some Indies and Dem leaners that other Repubs cannot, but he's going to get beat up on foreign policy and unlike his father, he doesn't have the electricity in order to stifle the argument.

His hopes rest on there being a large crowd of contenders splitting votes from state-to-state, while Rand maintains and eventually adds to, his father's 12-20% he was getting in 2012. If a Repub doesn't win the White House, we'll get "Rand Paul 20/20 vision" slogans plastered everywhere next election.

Lincoln Chafee (former Repub Senator and Independent Governor) decided to form an exploratory committee to run as a Dem. He was last seen bailing out of a race for re-election as Governor as he had poll ratings in the low 30s. If he wanted to make some noise, he should have challenged Bush in '04.

Hillary is in. Very nice intro video, and I like the logo.
