I have a feeling Brian is going to pass me for #1. I am behind in all three of my remaining LCS. It will come down to Round 2 either way.

After a 3-0 session, I'm back to .500 in the remaining LCS series. I'm at 3-3, 2-1, 1-2 and 0-0, having already lost one 1-4.

If I do go 2-2 in the 4 series I'm alive in, that would probably be enough to catch up. But I could easily go 1-3 or even 0-4, and I think that would be enough for you to clinch 1st place for round 1.

I should amend this -- it would be the second lowest ever. Area51man made it with 486 regular season points in 2008.

With only 72 people, scores will be lower for admission into round 2.

I was skeptical that would hold true, but it is shaping up that way. It looks like this will be the lowest cutoff ever. (In 2005 we had a tie for 23rd with a whopping 580 points, and in 2009 we had a tie for 23rd at 557)

newarkwilder won his LCS. So he's at 532 right now. He needs to win at least 2 games -- probably 3 -- in the WS in order to have a shot. Winning the series would ensure he gets in.

What an embarrassing playoff performance. 25 total playoff bonus points, 8.33 per team. Awful.

Actually, I just checked mick33. He lost his Game 7 so he ends with 534... one measly point behind ej and firmly stuck in 24th for now.

If newark ties him for 24th and they are not passed by donaldjtrump or magicdreamer, tiebreakers would come into play. The first tiebreaker is regular season wins, which they are ALSO tied in, at 506. The second tiebreaker is playoff wins (not points), where mick33 had 8 and newark, in this scenario, would have 9 and get the spot.

That may all be a moot point, though, if magicdreamer and donaldjtrump win out, or if newark either wins more or less games in his WS.

I'm not gonna lie. I oscillate back and forth between being completely crushed that my teams collapsed in the last 20 games to miss round 2. . . to being relieved that my teams collapsed to miss round 2. . . . . just not sure I had the energy for those brutal round 2 themes. I messed around with the "All round 1 players blacklisted" theme and about lost my mind after 30 minutes of research. Good luck to all who made it!!!

Standings updated. Brian still has a chance to have 4 WS teams. He is tied 3-3 in two LCS, and is up 2-1 in a third. If he makes all four (or even 3 of the four), he probably takes Round 1.
