I could be way off, but I don't totally get the concern with somewhat low minutes because without a cap - isn't it expected that in mid and especially later rounds you'll have access to pretty good back ups that have plenty of minutes. Then wouldn't the debate be whether a lower minute guy is better than a higher minute player and is it better enough over replacement minutes? I guess we'll see if I'm screwed later on....
stop pondering this and pick already!

lots of good options either way

Longtallbrad is a legend, so he doesn’t need any feedback from me. But man, Rodman at the 3 and Wade at the 2 is going to make getting enough threes real, real hard.
You speak truth, brother. I can't argue with your perspective. And, I may have locked myself into a particular kind of narrative. And, golly, aren't we all just trying to have fun at the end of the day? (And by the way, just for shucks and giggles, what is my overarching strategy?)
Increasingly looking the the more rebounding, less shooting version of ben's. You certainly have the chops to pull it off.

does jcred know he's up? he made a post in here at 8:49, but no pick in the draft thread.

I sent sitemail but it hasn't been opened

In my experience, Jcred's pretty frustrating when it comes to drafts...

...because he drafts so well.

getting close enough to my draft pick to start praying

Karl-Anthony Towns was a pick that I thought would go much later, but one that I thought deserved to go in the 2nd round even with the empty 5th season.

Given your Minnesota fandom I thought there was an outside chance you would take him at the turn.

I don’t hate the fit of Garnett and Towns. In the seasons Garnett can play 3, there is already a massive rebound advantage without a sacrifice of threes. When Garnett has to play 4, he is a nice defensive pairing where he takes the better big. Plus two Minny legends. Pretty cool.

Definitely thought about it, but dismissed it pretty quickly. Towns isn’t my favorite player. Like him a lot, but just doesn’t give me the same feels that KG did. Super jealous that he’s got both of them though.

I thought I might have the dilemma of whether to take him with my pick towards the end of the 2nd.

I had him as a late 2nd and planned on going PG but with the top choices gone I figured why go with a lesser point AND miss out on KAT, who I gave a 0% chance of surviving until my 3rd round pick.

I should correct my above statement. Towns is not a Minny legend, just a Minny player.

McHale was on my shortlist. I had a pretty plan for what Gilmore, McHale and someone I think I can get in the third would look like.

McHale is a minny legend tho
