Seriously, I agree with you that right now they are not acting like he'll miss more than a month or two - but as long as they refuse to put a timeframe on it, the doom and gloom speculation is going to be out there.

My concern is more with how chronic it might wind up being. If it takes him 2 months but he comes back at 100% and can stay there - fine.

Hehe.  I hadn't checked.  His fielding and a weak NL crop are the only reasons why.  Same thing is happening in HR.  It is pretty stupid.

Yeah, I saw his fielding numbers and knew that was there reason. I know and have accepted that they overvalue fielding in MVP and All-Star formulas, particularly at 1B and COF, but that's just ridiculous, especially since you have a sub .500 team.

GillyMac has a legit shot at a triple crown.

with 13M left for an international, only signing Brian Mara is not what I had hoped for out of the international market

The pitcher that patrickm got was the best player I saw I think.
