It may be too late to bring this up, but I do not think that decision is fair to the rest of the owners in the league. Let's say 10 picks happen between now and when ronblood finally reselects. That means ten owners who might have wanted or drafted Willie Davis were denied the chance to do so. After the "replacement make-up" pick, Davis is tossed back into the draft pool where the next owner all of a sudden has a chance to draft him???

I say that if you miss two picks in a row and the commish has to step up and make your pick for you, that you are STUCK with whomever you get. Otherwise, the draft becomes a joke.

Not mad or anything.....but needed to share my thoughts!

well i personally am sitting here hoping he doesnt want Davis haha ;) not that its tipping my hand or anything lol

wonker, I am persuaded that your view is correct. I sent a site mail to ronblood earlier saying he could substitute, so I would like to give him until the end of the day today, but if he hasn't acted I will freeze that draft pick and any future recurrences for him or anyone else. I will send a site mail to him to that effect. He has said a couple of times that he is having computer problems and he hasn't opened the last few site mails yet so we may have a possible problem.

If he fails to make his round 7 pick tomorrow, I will make the round 6 pick and before the end of the day tomorrow make the round 7 pick as well as I do not want a team to get seriously behind in the draft. I will do my best to make what I think would be my picks if his team were my own.
