I only saw the 2nd period because I'm working tonight. I thought the game was good but agree that the ref's missed some calls. The moron with the laser should be banned from GM Place the remainder of the season. That's just plain stupid. Calgary did outplay the Canucks if you look at the stats but they never gave up.

From what I saw Luo played pretty well. Ripper had a good scrap too.

JUSKAY my beef with Luongo has been his inability to win the big game,i dont care what his GAA is in the last 15 games,today was a big game and even if his teammates played like crap he got lucky,what were there 4 posts for the Flames? and then going 0/3 in the shootout? Dawes and Lundmark scoring? you realize these guys are career minor leaguers? no excuse for it..just like game 6 last year in Chicago ,Luongo has not proven he can win in pressure games..i have not seen it since he has been here

I'm no flame fan, but your kidding right...has Dawes spent a great deal of time in the minor leagues? Seems to me like Lundmark has been in the big shwo for quite some time too. Regardless, if a player like Dawes has a lifetime 40% shootout record (with a decent sample size) I would say he's no slouch. Oh yeah that other career minor leaguer Jokinen also scored.

Come on randle. Those three Flame SO goals were beauties. No keeper in the league was going to stop them.

I didnt watch the game obviously, but how come I am not surprised there are excuses when the Flames win... I dont understand how the refs or Luigi could be at fault since the Canucks were supposed to steamroll the Flames...
