Its when your project is at its most finished staged and ready to go live, but want them to test it for any minor bugs that fell threw the cracks. This isn't even close to being done, but will be released likely in a few weeks because it sounds like it already has a time frame that is out of his hands.

So this is more of a alpha/beta test? Seble himself even stated where he knew the project was at and that it had taken him longer to accomplish then previously thought. He said all of this before hand, i have no idea what it is you are trying to accomplish here by forecasting the demise of HD.

And you couldn't be anymore off by saying 'it will be released in the next few weeks. That shows how out of touch you are with the beta test.

I personally think that this cap will render the current sim teams with more than 6 in one class at the D3 and D2 levels (and possibly up to D1) doomed to an eternal sim fate. It is just another thing to deter coaches from sticking with or picking up lower teams, an area that desperately needs revitalization in most worlds. Just my two cents. I'd definitely be interested in hearing some of the older vets thoughts on this
are there lots of DII and DIII teams that have more than six in every class? seems mathematically unlikely to me

if so, then do you really think the 6 in a class problem is a permanent problem or a one cycle constraint? it has been a while since I took over a SIM DII or DIII team, but I would expect that one could take over a SIM controlled team and adjust class sizes by cutting guys at the appropriate times

explain why this is permanent?

Peronally I would favor capping the money at 4 players or even a set amount for each season, but I know I am in the minority here.
It just inst realistic that in some years you have way more resources than others. If you are only going after one player you should have an advantage over a coach who is trying to fill a roster. IRL you can devote more resources to that one kid if you arent going all over the country trying to fill 5-6 schollies..

If this turns into a voting thread, tally one vote for NO CHANGE to the 6 schollie cap on recruiting funds. thank you for your time.

Actually, I believe he said they reached an accord with the business people and the engine could be released in parts.

He may be, but his post looks a helluva lot more "in touch" than one with no responses from any site staff.

He may be, but his post looks a helluva lot more "in touch" than one with no responses from any site staff. Are you implying that i have not spoken to seble about this very topic? Just because I don't have the time at the moment to wade through numerous tickets... seble even said himself on the test site that he would not rush this and would not push it out if it was not ready, right after he was called out for his "Ready by March" comment that furry posted.
I can relay what is being said on the site and in all honesty just because 'he is talking' does not mean 'he is in touch' since basically what he said wasn't true. I am not calling him out as being dumb or anything to that matter I don't want him to scare people off with facts that, at best, are only half true.

I would, if he were right. He is right in saying 'seble said these things' he is not right in the sense of his overall comments. They are not expecting to have this entire project ready in a week.

The fact is he either A) picked and choose which comments to share to try and prove his point or B) had not read the entire dialog of the conversation and was misinformed. My guess is B as I don't think furry would purposefully mislead people.

Furry isn't even a part of the beta test...

I'm not implying at all that you haven't spoken to seble about this. I AM however, flat out saying that you are obviously not the only one that HAS spoken to seble. As bad as you seem to want to be project manager on this, I don't know why you would think that your conversations with seble would hold any more weight than anyone else's...............

I also don't see how you can say that what he is saying isn't true, since he is QUOTING seble.
