Classy Bears organization.  Refuse to pay your franchise back more money, up his workload and make him carry the offense, and now he's hurt.  That's a good way to make players want to play for you.

How is it a moke attempt?  Forte knew he was a big part of their offense and wanted to be paid up front, because he knew an injury or something could happen.  They said no, and even upped his workload, and now he's hurt.  That's a completely classless move by the Bears organization.

Wrong, but nice "logic".  Forte is under contract, therefore the organization is under no obligation to pay him one more nickel.  They have been smart about it and it showed today.

That's why Cutler won't play when he gets a hangnail.   He knows he could be seriously injured in Martz's offense and that the Bears would cut him in a heartbeat.

That's exactly what I inferred.  Why should a player put it all on the line for a franchise that will just discard him like smelly garbage if he's injured?

With my luck, they'll find their game against the Broncos next week after getting chewed up by the rest of the AFC West.  Hopefully Forte is out at least one week.
