hey cccp, let me ask you something. Your girls play sports, right? Suppose a guy coaching one of their teams is accused of sexual assault. Would you be okay with him continuing to coach the team until the allegations are proven to be true or lies? I'm not sure how I'd feel if it was my daughter's coach. Yes, he is innocent until proven guilty, but I don't want my daughter around him if it is true.
Assault that happened 36 yrs ago and cannot be corroborated? I would not care.

Do you agree that Democrats run our inner cities:

Baltimore, Chicago, Oakland, St. Louis, Detroit, etc.?

I am too lazy to look up the mayors and governors of each city. Not sure a dem is in charge of St. Louis or Detroit. Either way they don't control what happens there.
They don't? The city council, police, mayor, etc. all Democrats? LOL
Where are you going with this?
Don't answer my question with a question bad tangplay.

Do you agree that Democrats run our inner cities? Y or N?
I am trying not to get put in a hole with this argument. I don't see where you are going with this.

Yes, democratic leaders typically are leaders over the inner cities.
And that has been the case for ~50 yrs now? Correct? No hole. We are dealing strictly with facts here.
IDK, sure
Why do you support that party then? They are basically modern day slave owners. In fact it was the Democrats who were pro slavery before the Civil War. Lincoln was a Republican.

Kavanaugh probably wouldn't have been at the top of my list, but based on what I heard when he was nominated (from both Parties) and what I've heard (or haven't heard) recently, I'd vote to approve him. One woman's 36 year-old hearsay, and a few stories about overdrinking and (OMG) throwing ice just aren't enough to convince me. I know far, far too many people who have done worse than overdrink and throw ice, who became greatly different people once they left College for the "real" World. Again, if PROOF about anything remotely sexual assault related comes-out, that changes everything. BOTH sides should be ashamed of how they've acted and what they've said. "Draining the Swamp" is exactly what is needed. Just isn't happening with Trump elected as a Republican (as it MIGHT have had he lost the Primary and won the General as a 3rd-Party candidate). Far, far too many professional Politicians in Office, thanks to our Parties.
I don't know if Kavanaugh did anything on that night, and I don't care that he drank a lot in college. But I do care that he seems to lie consistently. Not a characteristic I'd want in a Supreme Court Justice.
But you were OK with it when it came to POTUS when you voted for HRC? LOL.

Go back to bad_luck's bushes.
10/3/2018 9:48 AM
Tell you what Boris. There are plenty of folks who "believe" that HRC ran a prostitution ring out of a pizza joint in DC. It was all over the internets..........

Let's open an FBI investigation into those charges and get to the bottom of things and IF She lied when she denied being involved with that prostitution ring then let's "lock her up"!!!!.............. Will that make it fairer??? You are asking for "fairness" in politics involving SEX. That's nuts.

HRC is such OLD news. The Clintons are history, nearly gone, will you please leave them there!!!
they BOTH suck as people, though Bad Bill DID deliver us a balanced National budget!!

I sure wish somebody would do THAT again!

The democrats are modern day slave owners because 150 years ago they supported slavery. The parties switched, dude. That's a ******, ****** argument.

You missed my point.

wylie said he doesn't think Kav should be on the SC whether he is guilty or innocent because he thinks he lied and liars should not be on the SC. But he was OK with a liar as POTUS --- HRC. I find that funny.

Really?
  1. Broken down and unsafe housing.
  2. Broken families.
  3. A high degree of violence required in order to hold the place together.
  4. Everybody gets a basic provision, but nobody gets ahead.
  5. Extreme skepticism and despair. This is an intergenerational, ongoing, lasting way of life.

Is that a fair way to describe the situation in the inner cities that are controlled by the Dems?

Pretty sure Democrats advocate for zero of those positions.

Ok, so the world doesn't work like Sim City. I don't see how you don't understand that Democrats don't control every aspect of the city. Now, you can point to policies that caused or exacerbated the problems, but otherwise you are wasting my time.
10/3/2018 12:56 PM
So many problems with his post. Like you pointed out, a mayor or city council doesn't have total control of the city. And things like poverty are impacted greatly by things like the structure of the economy. A mayor doesn't impact "broken families."

Also, cccp ignores the massive rural poverty in the country. Those people are largely governed by the GOP. Look at Kansas or Oklahoma for examples. I think Oklahoma is down to 4 day a week school weeks because they cut taxes so much they can't pay teachers for 5 days a week. Awesome. I'm sure working parents have no problem taking an extra day off every week to deal with that.
