I still marvel at how many multi-run blown saves occur in this game after there are two outs and no runners on base.

In my $110, $140, and variable I gave up 14 runs…in the 9th inning…after leading in all 3 and lost them all

My team that I thought would "do the best" is 13-27.

My team I was "most worried" about is 27-13.

Shows what I know.

My Friendo team is now 18-30 and is 2-13 in 1 run games. I either drafted the worst bullpen I've ever drafted or am having awful luck. Pitch counts are set conservatively, my $/IP aren't out of line, and right now they are well rested (thanks to my mop-up man getting some innings in recently). Look at these numbers and tell me - is it bad luck, lack of skilled drafting, or both?

IMHO, the bottom four pitchers are at least OK, if not better. I wouldn't use the others in a $110M cap league. Results in one-run games tend to be driven by luck in most cases and may not even out during the course of a season.

yea, I'm used to OLs and WISC is my first time playing in some higher cap leagues. Learning the hard way. But I didn't expect ERAs above 10 for Clevinger, Brasier and Duffey. Give me a 5.00 ERA for those guys and I'm probably around .500.

I've been advocating for this for a long time. Moreso the addition of home/away lineups, but applies to pitching too. It's tedius to have to switch players' roles based on where they're pitching, but for some teams, it makes a huge difference.

I realize we're only about 1/3 of the way in, but I'm already in some silly division races:

Here is a stat I never thought I'd see.

C Jesus Sanchez in the 70M league has created -0.01 runs. Or destroyed .01 runs. He has 0 H in 26 AB, 1 BB and 2 GIDP. I'd have done better to take an intentional strikeout instead of sending this guy to the plate.
