When Channer gets back into the lineup (8 more days, neck injury), Hugh Buntin will be on the trade block in the superleague.  He's 35 and in his contract year.  Sounds like a no-brainer for probie.

Looking for an under-30 top 6 offensive forward or might even prefer a  in the 80-85 overall range.
sign Pedersen!
His shot accuracy is scary bad.

It's going to be skewed because I practiced medium every day, all offseason and again today, so they all got the sourpusses working. When they has their happies on, that's when I'll pull the trigger. But for giggles, we'll see. You want me to do Preddy too? please hold...

yep. Throw preddy in there.

Columbres/Nin/and Otto were actually cheap FA signings. They all got huge raises, though, after that massive jump in improvement stemming from their potential.

'Scuse me while I laugh my *** off at their agents.

Those seven currently make$16.735M... they're collectively asking for $47.817M.

Zigich himself wants almost $17M. I'll get him for $12-13M.

31 mil. ha! Told ya. Gonna be higher at the end of the season after their numbers go up. Get 'er done, Bri!

72 isn't "scary bad"

My new guy Sohl's 57 is "scary bad"

Pedersen does a lot of useful things (STA, SP, FACEOFF, OFF-117), and was a #1 pick with still 88 potential. Don't forget he stalled the last couple of years on a ghostship. With regular practice and getting +OFF, +DEF, +SP & +SA from games, he'll be a quality point-producer pretty quick.

Naw, and I'll also wait until we're into the season and their morale has gone up. Smileys = lower contract demands. One of the nice things about attitude.

Best time to resign a guy is coming off back to back games, which I have Sunday and Monday. They get ice time, and you give them the 2nd day off from practice in between the games which bumps their morale another +10. After that 2nd game, they'll be almost willing to play for free.

Bogdanov's agent can go play with himself.

When I first got him before season 3, I played then 18 year-old Bogdanov on my top line, when you could get away with a 66-68 stamina playing that much. Now, he's 25 and his stamina is still only 72, which pretty much restricts him to the 4th line and PK in today's Superleague. His agent just asked for over $5.6M.

I'd take Joller and Paynter if I were pdiddy. He's got the cash. He shouldn't waste his money on a guy that can't hit the net. The goalies in this league are getting better every year. Argenti would see Pedersen bearing down on net and know he could go grab himself a cup of coffee and catch a sitcom.

We're putting this theory to test, right? Curious to see what those same guys demand after their back to backs. Keep me updated.
