After a big victory in Jax, the Gus Bus meets up with the Madden Cruiser for SNF in the Dome against da Bears.

Considering the last time these 2 teams met there were 89 pts scored, I expect a 7-6 slugfest this time around, because neither team is quite mentally capable to handle a shootout again. Otherwise, Lovie Smith and Brad Childress might have seizures on the sideline...although Vikings fans might actually like that.

It's still possible, considering we might only have to win 2 out of 4.

The Bears and Packers would have to win all 4 games to have a chance, because there's a good chance that we would hold the tiebreakers on both of them. Since the Bears and Packers already have to play one another in one of those 4, that's not possible. If we can beat the Lions and find 1 more win amongst the Cardinals, Falcons, and Giants games, we should still win the division.

If the Packers win all four (or even if they just beat Detroit and Chicago), they'll have the division record tie-breaker, as they would be 5-1 in the division. Vikings have two division losses.



Not that the Packers will win all four.

Yeah, it was a back injury...we don't know yet if the Gus Bus will be gone more than just yesterday's game. We may get stuck with Tarvaris next week.

Somehow, the Vikings made it through the regular season and got a NFC North title. While I don't expect a victory over the Eagles this week, how sweet it would be for Childress to stuff his old boss.
