I would like to cordially invite the rest of you to join Hot Stove. We have exactly 9 openings, so this would work out perfectly. There are some open teams that need some serious work, but overall the league just needs some dedicated owners to stay afloat. I've got the password if everyone is interested.

i haven't been in hot stove in awhile but i was for the first 3 seasons and it was a good world. sure it still is.

on another note Mike Greenwell will roll soon and historically has about 12 openings a year. while i know that screams as a world qualified for deletion i'd like to personally say it's been one of my faves and there are some very good owners in the world.

if Mike would put it on the list of worlds applying for a group of owners i'd be tickled.

Stewart_UK is the commish and i'm sure he'd be cool with it.

I am in for basically any league and team.

erff, I figured I'd wait til our base was built back up to 10+ and maybe wait til Monday to contact them to see which world they may be interested in joining.

I've got Greenwell, Hot Stove, NQII, Bricklayers II, Rookies and Abbott on my list. Just waiting to see how many openings some of them have.

Oh, forgot to add this: I think it's pointless for us to send 9 owners to a world that needs 13. Nothing is solved as there are a ton of worlds needing 4.

If we can get one more commitment, we could fill Hot Stove immediately. Teams like the Braves, Brewers and Indians need some serious work, while others just need some TLC to get back to respectability. The problem with the league is that it is so top heavy...so the same teams keep coming open year after year.

If we can get committed owners into those franchises, we could increase parity and make the lesser franchises attractive for the future.
