Don't confuse [we don't have enough information to determine the relative probability of each event] with [each event must be equally likely], guys.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, colonels saying "mea culpa" doesn't make up for the pages of argument where he stared in the face of [everyone minus him] saying the exact same thing... or the pages of argument where he called us all stupid. That was stubborn and idiotic - even if the result turned out OK, the process was revealing of his character.

In my opinion, arguing with colonels is wasted energy and not worth my time really. Nothing he says really changes my thinking. He was on here about 2-3 years ago doing the exact same thing.

i am still not convinced he was serious throughout any of that recent nonsense. i suppose i should believe it by now, but am really struggling. its just too ridiculous. no... its not possible :O

I'm actually a very mild mannered, laid back guy...I understand that that's very hard to believe...but I just amp it up a bit when I post on message boards. I know you haven't been here for much/any of this moy, however my stance is that human life/basketball is more random than HD/sim basketball thus anything can happen in real life and that this shouldn't necessarily be the case in HD. Thanks for the response though.

Lol, of course not. Those other threads were never meant to blow up either, but people were so fervently against me and my systems, that I felt it was necessary that I stand and defend myself....yes its against 4-5 guys that I'll probably never meet, but its the principle of the matter. I was never asking folks to like what I was doing, but to call it outright dumb, illogical, etc...that's what I took exception with.
