lets get those keepers in folks. I really need to draft the final round on Wednesday otherwise an ugly proxy awaits.
If we're considering drafting on Wednesday, I'll need a long list of proxy picks as well...
I'd hope that we don't schedule picks on a holiday....That isn't fair, most of us aren't available....my two cents.
Forgot it was a holiday. It sucks because it's my regular day off so I don't get any special treatment or extra day off. We'll draft when we draft and I'll just deal with it.

Question....would I be crazy to try to bat Barry leadoff? His '04 season-232 walks, .609 OBP.....Anyone ever tried to do that???

Sick stat.....Barry had a 5.66 BB/SO ratio that season....

Babe Ruth makes a good leadoff hitter. great OBP and you get to use all of his PA. the problem with Barry leading off is he only has 617 PA. more efficiently used in the middle of the lineup tho I can see leading off in key games.

Well, since I have to be in a division with rbow923, I might as well try to knock him down a peg.

I figure this ought to take him from 105 wins to 104:

Cliff Lee, Mariners
Cliff and his .240 OAV are all yours. I was planning to use the 105 inning version so you knocked me down half a peg.

Barry is gonna get rested against some lefties, I can make it work.

No, we're not scheduling on a holiday.  We'll plow through untimed until Thursday.  Just got back from house hunting and softball this evening.  Will have everything updated shortly.

Ah, I see ff09 has yet to make his selection.  I already have several keepers, and will keep track once again on page one as to who has sent them.

Maybe once we'll try this by keeping 2 players per round....By round 3 we'll be drafting each other's scrubs....haha

What, you don't wanna salivate over my Kurt Ainsworth? The draft would look more like a Big Dick roster...speaking of which, will be back shortly. I'll contact sford, see if he wants to commish. If not, I'll do it...

Best name for a bar...evah...

Thanks, ff09.  Hope all is well after those storms.  Serious stuff.

Looks like I still need five keepers, which isn't bad this soon after the round.  Get 'em in.
