Nice pickup this late. I was eying Big Mac for a while but ended up needing a solid Polanco to start.

I already had 1999 McGwire (and some Cabrera/Jorgensen/Clark crap) pencilled in at first base but decided to upgrade to the 98 McGwire. This is a strange 16x16 for me - usually I’m frantically trying to shed salary and downgrade teammates to desperately fit under the cap and this time I’m going the other way.

I suspect most people are in that boat.

I was originally targeting '00 Guthrie (Delgado) but it came down to which combo I wanted to play at 1B/C... J.Clark & Piazza or Delgado & Pena.

"Mulligan".......I am usually the team with the highest salary. And i am low this time "And not liking it" Wanted one of the top Murphy's and lost out, and didn't get any of the relief pitchers i wanted (season's) so thru that out the window. I believe that is what is going to kill me.

I'm struggling with where to use my 9th teammate. Toss back a stud hitter for a mediocre nominee season to get an extra relief arm, or try to make due with 5 teammate pitchers to have a great lineup.

I think most people will have poor relief pitching. It's not a surprise the #1 overall pick was '12 Fernando Rodney. My second round pick was '02 Jason Isringhausen. This definitely has been a unique variation of the 16x16.

I think I’m definitely in a worse boat than all the musings above — I’m worried if I can field a lineup and have enough pitching to survive! :o

This would have been a lot worse had I kept the DH and included a 7th nominated RP instead of the 10th hitter.
