3 goals on 7 shots ...10 million...hmmmm  ?   i dont really wanna comment ..knowing the Nuck lovers will be all over me ...Miller looked good tonite ...any more talk about trading Schneider this summer ?
Luo's salary is $6.7 mil, his cap hit is $5.3 mil.  He is bound to have some bad games, what goalie doesn't?  He is marketable at those numbers, particularly to teams that need a bona fide #1 to become contenders (Washington, Philly, Chicago & Tampa).  Canuck bashers like to jump all over him when he has a bad game, they're nowhere to be seen when he's in the zone.

I'm not a Canuck basher but if there was a time to do it , it will be soon. This years playoffs will have huge effect on our team. Not a rebuild but there will be some players moved. When we have a stellar goaltender like Schneider, Luo becomes an easy target. Don't get me wrong because Luo has been one of my fav Canucks for a while. If we can win the Cup then maybe Luo stays and Schneider stays on to back him up again. That best case scenerio IMO.

As for now we need to score more goals. Sedins have slowed, Raymond has been terrible and Higgins needs to step up. Booth has been good as well as Burrows. Kassian has looked good in every game played for the Canucks so far.

We have a buyer...who's your team Vegcity?  I find it amusing that when Schneider was on his game and playing great Management looked for the slightest blip by Cory to get Luongo back in net , but Luongo can sh!t the bed and basically give the Sabres the game in the first 5 minutes but  he gets the start tonite?..I would want out if i was Schneider..WTF does the kid have to do ? he's yoiunger ..better , more of a team guy ..and costs less ...Gillis would have to be a complete idiot to trade him instead of Luongo

I agree that it makes complete sense to trade away Luongo rather than Schneider.  The return will not be as good, and there will be fewer trading partners.  In the end it will be a question of what works best for the team.  Cory is still young, if things were like this 2 seasons from now then I would be p!ssed if I were him.  He's a valuable member of the team, and he wants the cup as bad as anybody else on the team.

Luongo and Schneider is a little like Peyton and Andrew Luck ..except the Colts wanna keep the younger ,unproven talent over the Older proven winner in Manning..whereas Canucks would rather keep the Older,Unproven,Choker over the younger, unproven talent..but then again the Colts have won a championship..whereas the team that has gone 0-3 in the finals is about to make the worst decision in its history since the Neely trade

of course Cory gets the win after Luongo craps out the building his last 2 starts but they will succumb to the contract and not who deserves to keep playing....

The saddest thing about the loss to the Sabres was the fact  that Schneider got tagged with the LOSS.  Lu sh&t's the bed, Schneider NEARLY leads the team to a great comeback win and he get's tagged with the loss....................Painful!!!

Most of you in the Canucks forum know that I have defended Luo time after time. Well, that time is almost to an end. Don't let this sound like I'm going to start bashing him up side the head with a bag of pucks because I will not. I'm honestly starting to think that it will be time to move on and hand the reins to the team to Schneider.

I know randle, I know, you have have been saying that for a long time but I honestly beleive that if the Canucks don't win the cup this season, Roberto will be gone. Rightful so too. Luo is still a quality goalie in this league and is a valuable asset. Even after watching Schneider in the game last night Vs the Jets, he's so calm and relaxed out there. I don't remember seeing him laying on his belly fishing around for a puck. I hope Schneider gets the start Vs the Canadians on Saturday. If he does then I think thats a message being sent to Luo. If not, then it's the same old, same old.

I hear you Styckman ...i feel the same way, Luongo is better than a lot of goalies in this league  but i think we have something special in |Cory ,this kid is calm ,he is a winner ,his teamates love this kid , i just think it would be a travesty trading Schneids...I will  give Luo this playoff ..if they win the cup ..fine ...its all good ,but if they fail once again...it is time for them to deal Luo and let Cory have a chance...this kid is a winner ..when i picture Vancouver hoisting the cup i see Schneider as our goalie not Luongo..

another loss tonite?  let me guess luongo in net?  ...yep    no ...you wouldnt want to start Schneider...he is just the better goalie...lets cave to the contract    ..what is that ? 4 games 3 losses and luongo in net for the 3 losses ? wow what a surprise ...who was in net for the 1 win ? Schneider ...again  no surprise ....who are we gonna trade and  endure another 40 years of mediocrity?  ...we are all Canucks
3/11/2012 12:15 AM
Lets start Luogo again next game ...what a f3ckin joke !!   the guy is a useless piece of sh!T ...im sick of this f#ck  being paraded around town like some saviour...sooner we ditch Luongo the sooner we become a contender with Schneider as our man
3/11/2012 12:19 AM
5.74 GAA  for Luongo in his last 150 minutes??  WTF ? Useless !   If Gillis trades Schneider he is a useless f#ckin piece of Sh!t
3/11/2012 12:23 AM
Cmon Edler ...hit Luongo harder !  we knock the fraud out for the season and we have a chance for the cup!
3/11/2012 12:28 AM
I was hoping that Schneider would have started last night. That 2nd goal was pretty weak on Luongo's part. The whole team didn't look very good after the 1st period. So much for a good homestand. Has anyone seen a Sedin for the last 6-7 games?
