He's not horrible. You could have (and guys have) done a lot worse. That goalie would've been a foundation piece though. Good right away and 98 potential. He'd have been the best in the league pretty soon. Better than the two I drafted anyhow (one has no potential and the other a bad attitude).
Great potential, but starting off with really low offense/defense, so he needs to convert some of that potential into skills. Good attitude, at least a li'l bit of stamina and an icon. He's at least useful. Since you can never see stamina, attitude, passing or faceoff before you draft (even with Level 9 training/scouting) you're never sure what you're getting. A guy with a stamina in the 50s basically sticks you with a worthless player (like I got stuck with Whitsell only to cut him right away for that ugly stamina - despite good everything else). You didn't get that.
As your training/scouting improves, you'll see those '?' marks replaced by numbers and you'll have a better idea what you're getting before you pull the trigger. You'll also develop them faster once they're on your team.
