Nah, we aren't posting crap that doesn't add anything to any conversation just to be a troll. I appreciate his service as well, but he comes in here just to disrupt good conversation and debate. He can troll in another thread. I was wrong for redlining Dino's post a couple of days ago and I do apologize, but comments with no purpose have to go. Satire is fine, but trolling will not be allowed.

im glad you reallize i speak in satire.
ive never seen rc troll or curse...we all vent on occasion..i know i do.
we must revere our veterans...and i really mean it.

Perhaps I should explain. I was trying to add to the conversation by stating I do not believe that Hawaii was really trying to pass the legislation you claim. If in fact it did come up it was a joke. As I have said many times, the right lacks any sense of humor.

I agree with the veteran part.

His comment that was redlined quoted the topic of the day and said "fake news from the moron on the right." You can decide for yourself if that is trolling or not. I most certainly feel it is and it definitely doesn't add anything to a debate. I wasn't offended by his comment. I just didn't see it's place in what has been a really good thread.

Definitely not a joke.

Based on a novel by Irwin Shaw. Dean Martin was underrated as an actor I think. I feel he did a great job

well.....rc was venting tonight......he doesnt say that very often...
tonight we are all spartacus and we are all morons.
rc served in korea....he is a hero to me.....let it be forgotten.

I just finished season 2 of Spartacus on netflix. They did a really good job with it. Especially considering that the actor who played Spartacus died after season 1. VERY gruesome show, but very well made.

it is interesting that sinatra did from here to eternity with clift in 53 and then in 58 it was dean martin's turn.....great acting and directing...barbara rush also great....a shame that no scenes between brando and clift......

i guess that law is real....i cant imagine that a legal product can be banned in a state...taxed higher i guess yes but not banned.
you cant prohibit sale of alcohol....i cant see it.

The character Sinatra played was almost the same as the Clift part. At least that was always the way it struck me.

And I should correct one thing Dino, I served in Nam not Korea. And while I appreciate your kind words I was only one person. I lost good friends and I sometimes feel uncomfortable taking credit for doing what was my duty.
