true on all accounts. Seems like they are really counting on Kruger to play a HUGE role this season, even before the Sharp surgery.

3rd line center is a pretty meaty role for sure, but everyone is so damn high on this kid that it wouldn't shock me if he took over the 2nd line and Sharp gets moved back to wing. 

It wouldn't shock me if he struggled at times either.

The most interesting thing I find about Kruger is that many have compared his game to Dave Bolland's, which is very good. One good checking center that can contribute is very hard to find, let alone two. We'll just have to see if Kruger is ready for the big show yet...

My ideal scenario would be to see him start the year in Rockford, get tons of top line ice-time and be a mid-season call-up like Leddy was, but with Sharp's injury, all bets are off now.

Hawks are going to have to 'feed their families' this season.  Hossa just had a kid last week, Scott just announced to the whole United Center that his wife is pregnant.
