Those orange things are about as fugly as you can get.  The throwbacks they wore last year were sharp, which begs the question "Why in God's name would you choose that orange abortion over the classy, sharp and not blindingly ugly orange things?"

Hawks have the best unis in hockey, if not all sports.

The Bears deserve to lose wearing those ugly unis.

For the record all of Hockey's original six team's uni's are amonst the best in all of sport......

What bugged me is that they wore those abortions during a game against our biggest rival.  We looked like clowns and played like clowns.  The Packers looked good and played as good as they looked.

Ben Smith took a nice shot to the head yesterday. Looked painful.

Brendan Smith should get 8 games or so for that dirty hit.

No, but it will kick in if and when he makes the big club.  Early word is that Ben Smith is "ok" and won't be rushed back.  It may not have caused a concussion...not all head shots do....which would be best-case scenario.

yeah - it was a hockey hit definitely deserving of a suspension.....  I wouldn't go so far as to call it dirty.  Seems Shanahan will rule on the suspension tomorrow.  

I'm glad Ben is okay.

Sounds like Sharp is almost back as well.  Kane looks healed.  Only Stalberg on teh injury list right now.

They're saying 2-3 weeks for Stalberg.  Not bad, but he was having a monster camp and looked great with Toews.  Tough setback, as we were hoping he'd finally "gotten it".

he was having a solid camp.  Then again most of it was against tryout players.... but he did look good.  2-3 weeks sucks. 


I will say after watching the Hawks A team play against the Wings B team last night I'm feeling confident w/ my bet ... I think Crawford is in for a long season.   Hawks D looks BAD imo.

Hawks D looks terrible again tonight... especially on the PK.
