Okay, sorry. Busy work day. Here is my take on the topic for today. I believe it should be mandatory. While it may seem contradictory, it is consistent with the rest of my beliefs. I believe you should be allowed to do what you want without the government telling you how to live your life, as long as you aren't directly harming someone else. As others have mentioned, when you do not have your children vaccinated you are directly putting other people at risk.
My only concern with vaccinations are the number of vaccinations that they give children in such a short amount of time. While we do have data that confirms that vaccinations are not harmful, we do not have longitudinal data that receiving numerous vaccinations in a short period of time at a young age is not harmful. I would like to see the vaccinations spread out more throughout childhood, administering the vaccinations for diseases that adults are more susceptible to later in the process.
