The Wildflowers CD played on a continuous loop for a week-long road trip in my younger days, so there will always be a fondness for Tom in my heart. Lack of impulse control notwithstanding.

I'm here...Got a bug or something, felt like crap and I slept all day after getting in late last night after work. Posting keepers now...Officially we'll go on the clock Monday morning, but we can get underway tonight...

It's probably a good thing that Jose has absolutely no reason to even look at who the Rockies "protect" in this league - otherwise some of his wrath would no doubt turn to mockery in my direction...

I think anyone who has the cajones to take the Rockies gets a pass as far as that goes.

i must admit I am curious about some of your choices. What do you know about Taylor Buchholtz that I don't?

Buchholz's one Colorado season is pretty good in relief. I don't know if it's Rule-V-protect good, but it's decent.

didn't someone protect a $200k bench guy once? or draft one?

Yeah, more than anything, protecting relievers gives me flexibility to take a wider variety of positions in the player draft - said differently, I don't really know what I'm doing.
