colonels, your sim vs human argument would hold more water if the sim didn't have a better game plan than you.

Guys all say this, I'm willing to let this go and drop it...nothing is going to change my mind, I'm royally ****** at this incident, but we're obviously getting nowhere with the back and forth banter saying the same things over and over and over again.

Some of you made good, valuable points, however still not enough to justify the result in my eyes...you tried and failed...what else can I say. If I'm forever an ******* in your eyes for this thread then so be it, I don't care, you guys don't give me an inch anyhow, thus hopefully here or somewhere soon, this is where it ends. If you don't think I have a legitimate reason to be ****** off here...you're insane. Peace.

Because it isn't true, perhaps?
or because it is...dude, the example you gave was a low human beating a high sim...my example is a low sim beating a high human...try to keep up.

What was it you said? "With that large a difference you shouldn't have to coach?"

THe difference is MONUMENTAL. Its HUGE! STUPENDOUS! GINORMOUS!! INCONCEIVABLE THAT THE BETTER TEAM COULD LOOSE!!!!

Except when its convenient for you for it to be otherwise.

The problem is this isn't a case of a "low sim beating a high human." Its not even a sim beating an average human. You are not a NT team. You are not a PIT team. If there was any more post season teams you would not be in one. You will have another triple digit rpi. You may not even be above .500 even "scrub pounding." against one of the worst SOS in your division. When it comes to talent and coaching, you are not even in the top 150 in that division. Don't be so surprised when you lose to bad coaches or sim ai when you are near the bottom yourself.

This is completely debatable

You have a hard time grasping the apples to oranges concept huh?

If you are wrong, why should we give?

I never said we were a tournament team, but we aren't Montevallo dog **** either...we're middle of the pack and hopefully we'll be in the 100-150 area in RPI...we're most certainly not tournament ready, but just because you're not a tournament team doesn't mean that you can't have gimmes.

I'm not saying you should, I'm just saying that neither side is budging. If you want to continue to slam for the next day, week, month, year...I'll be here with you...its up to you. I give the people what they want.

if you didnt waste your time playing mindless sims, you wouldn't have this problem in the first place. if sims were automatic wins, then how could you possibly enjoy playing them? you just don't make any sense. if you hate the sim engine so intensely, what are you doing spending so much time playing it?

If I didn't enjoy the game, I wouldn't be playing it, period. I'm a scrub pounder and I have been in other games I've participated in as well...its what I do. I don't really care how I get the W as long as I get it, and as furry pointed out, my team isn't really good enough to compete with some of the better/mediocre human teams of D2, thus I'm trying to take baby steps to get this team better. I understand that playing a great schedule and getting blown the f*** out gets you a better RPI, but the allure of scrub pounding always seems to lure me back in. Perhaps its a habit I have to break, but I enjoy playing the game this way currently. AASU isn't a tournament team, it just isn't.

You obviously can't understand any other gaming viewpoint than your own. People play this/these games for different reasons and its really none of your business why I do what I do, you're not forking out cash for my teams now are you? Part of you has forgotten what its like to be at my level.

That is step 1 in the right direction. Your team is not as good as you think. My team IS a tourney team - a deep tourney team, IMO. I still expect some tough losses here and there. We still have weaknesses, and if I didn't game plan I could fall to a sim ai. A solid coach in my conf just fell to a 3 win sim ai last night, and he is a NT bound team. If you take them for granted, it will bite you in the *** no matter how much better you feel you are then the sim. As you'll learn as you play more, you will suffer a good amount of questionable losses especially when your team is middle of the pack - at best. You are not dominate, so lower your expectations. Even as a NT team I don't have any "gimmies" on my schd so I scratch my head when you think you do. You're also not playing any sims in your non-con and on top of that, none of the 10 worst sims in D2...you would and should expect to kill all sims REGARDLESS...I don't care if you think so or not....you should and that should be your expectation. We'll see how long I last, I'm "paid up" through next season, but I very well might ask for another refund, who the hell knows anymore.

Rightly or wrongly NOTHING will ever make me comfortable with this result NOTHING.
