Fine. But if we were gonna have forward position restrictions, we should not have had relaxed rosters. That would have greatly changed my draft strategy, which was to pick the best possible forward available for my team in my opinion, regardless of position. On the one hand you say you don't want to have to look out for people if they didn't draft properly and on the other hand, you want to taylor to owners who "prefer" to draft forwards by position, when it's not a league requirement. In any case, here are my updated picks.
team lundqvist: Patrik Berglund & Taylor Pyatt
team selanne: Dave Bolland & Michal Roszival
Andru2792, what you say is in several ways very correct; I don't want to police people's picks, and yes we will have relaxed rosters. If you look a few pages back in this thread, you'll see that a few people were asking for some sort of limits on picks. I resisted that in the general sense, but I could see how someone might be caught unprepared by the sudden news that we would go to 2 picks on round 9. I anticipated I would get grief about that. While I apologize to anyone not in that predicament, for whom any restrictions were just a nuisance, my hope is that we avoided an
even larger number of complaints from people who might have claimed that now
they were at a sudden disadvantage. So while it's not perfect, and I personally could have lived without any restrictions, I hope I chose the lesser evil. There are no further restrictions on picks. I hope that no one can now complain they they had no warning about grabbing the positions they want.
I will be busy again tonight, so I need someone to be willing to act as a proxy for myself and others.
