Last year's playoff teams picked 3rd (WS Champ), 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 18th and 21st. ledfoot, who lost to me in the World Series, picked 18th and is still alive in the TOC while I got swept in three games. Sorry to see they did not return this season.

the difference between having Randy Johnson and Felix Hernandez available to you versus moving up one slot in the Angels round for example is quite big. It's definitely an advantage to pick first early in this draft.

there are only so many johnsons to go around so it is still luck of the draw. then you get into comparing the quality of franchises, there again it is based on luck of the draw. you play the hand you are dealt and carry on. last season i had the twins not a big fan of them but made do, wish i had my choice of say atlanta and greg maddux he was long gone when i picked for the braves.

I loved the Twins team I had in Season 1 - 92 wins. Assembling the team is just as much fun as the season, for me. The draft in this league is a season in itself.
