moving at a really good pace today...almost kinda glad we hit the italian speed bump here...need some time to think about this pick

really excited about the prospect of getting one guy still on the board...trying to figure out my backup plan for when my hopes get crushed in one of these next 3 picks...my money is on pharrop

Considering how I did last season, I'm probably not going to be giving out too much of that this time. Just reaction memes & gifs with the occasional "wtf?" or "dammit, I was gonna..." thrown in.

for the record ash - I also enjoyed your memes but was actually seeking your feedback....

zo probably would have been a better pick then your 3rd rounder last season...but ill admit, i scoffed at your 3rd round gjuy initially since he doesnt really get used in draft leagues...he ended up kicking kareems butt in the playoffs...much better player in this format

a lot of this is still uncharted territory for us owners programmed by years of odl/52 play

I like 2 - maybe 3 - of Kemp's seasons better with Curry. Like, if you could take 2 of Kemp's seasons & 2 of Zo's, that'd be amazing, but that ain't what we do here haha

right below the first round ones...

I know I am "legally blind" but they are not on my thread. The round one thoughts are on Page 13 and end with 24. Tim Duncan. After that, there are four other posts, and on the next page, a long discussion with times listed (from what those are for, I have no idea), and then a discussion about the Ewing pick and so on. I see no second round thoughts on Page 14, 15 or 16. Did they somehow get removed? Well, whatever....I'm sure they were hilarious.

Way too many picks still on the board to formulate a nice draft board, but the fact that I can draft literally any position here is both nice & nerve-wracking. I like having a bigger plan in place at this point instead of rolling with the punches.

I think I had logical reasons for that decision and turned out ok I assume. But yeah I valued your input - if for no other reason than it validated my instinct - as did other picks including your desire for Payton in this go round

No way was I leaving Kemp on the board. Zo is nice but he shoots a lot of midrange shots (best season he only shoots 54% of his shots in the paint). I wanted someone who could punish my opponent for playing +1/2 on Curry

OK thanks man. I thought they were only on page 13. I actually liked the page 13 ones better, they were easier for me to read without all the video clips.

That was a mock draft, not commentary on what really happened. As I said to goetz above, I'm not doing that super specific analysis commentary this time; mine is just for entertainment at this point. Anybody else that wants to is free to do so.

but yea..evals/commentary are a great learning tool that way...i did the same thing when i first started(shout out to ash/tarheel/scud)

Sheesh this is BRUTAL! 3-4 picks....three hour wait....2-3 picks.....four hour wait.....1 pick....two hour wait.....5 picks in an hour....four hour wait....and so on.

I don’t think ash was critical of my kidd pick - my point is simply I don’t see it as criticism but rather feedback from more experienced ppl. I take none of it personal and find team building a fascinating art. I was thanking him for it and want more of it
