Major math news: (snore)
I figure that, if I ran my payroll up to around $168M, I'd hit the point where my income from home games would just offset the losses from road games. At my current payroll of almost $92M, I make almost exactly $4M more on home games than I lose on road games. Simple math, if I added $76M to my payroll somehow, I'd be adding $2M in expense to both home and away games meaning: instead of making $6.644M at home and losing $2.665M away, I'd be making $4.6M at home and losing $4.6 away.
Since i have Level 9 everything, that is, no way to increase revenues, that appears (roughly) to be the true salary cap (with a break-even point) in the Superleague. With >$360M in the bank, I could probably stand to lose money for a li'l while before actually ending up in the red, but not forever. (For the new guys, $35M in the red = team bankrupt and would you like to begin again?)
So for the rest of the league, Speedy, Probie and I can't spend forever and ever without end. Probie is roughly at $130.7M, Speedy is at $128.9M, Atrain is at $94.4M, I'm at $91.9. Also, if you were spending conservatively, not knowing how far you could go, there it is, once you've got Level 9 staff, marketing and a 22,000-seat arena.
