In a recent HBD draft I offered my 1st round pick his asking price and he came back with significantly increased demands which I eventually met (I knew he'd sign since I had "very conservative" as my signing setting).  Had I not offered up to his new demand, would I have received a Type D selection in next years draft?

Once you meet his initial demand, you're eligible for compensation.

As best I can tell, since all his posts are gone, JVFord held approving the world either for himself or another owner because they wouldn't have access and/or would have two worlds rolling at once.   Several owners were unhappy with this unilateral decision and removed their teams.   JVF eventually removed his team.  Or, IOW, a flustercuck.

Is it more difficult, in HBD, to field a position in the majors than the minors?  i.e. is there a reason why a player who is a great fielder in the minors at a particular position (by + plays & fielding %) would not be a great fielder at the ML level?
