brunette is NOT a hard hitter which I CLEARLY explained after you misunderstood my meaning of soft.    

If Toews had Kane's skill with his own work ethic he would be elite.  I'm not saying he sucks... just that he is not Sid Crosby "the best of the best (i.e. 'elite' by definition)"

What I find interesting here is that the Hawks used the pick to draft a player similar to Brouwer (Danault), albeit with a bit more offensive upside. It will be interesting to see how his development differs from that of Brouwer in the same system.

Saad back to the ohl today...great move. hope he has a dominant season there. he's closer to the nhl than either mcneill or danault. if he works hard next season isn't out of the question.
